The AMC needs overwhelming votes for a safe and complete election. Your support is critical. Here's what you can do:
Ensure dues are paid and you are a member in good standing. - VOTE.
- Get the AMC message to others, pass on email and updates.
- Print a hard copy of the website and distribute to members.
- Learn more about union issues from the internet, news updates, and this site.
- Discuss the election issues with shipmates and union members
- Care about this election and stand up to say so.
- Be open and strong about your support for change and the AMC candidates.
To promote true union democracy, we need help getting the word to the AMO membership.
We are denied our union’s resources to fairly respond and get
information to members. This attempt to suffocate democracy can be
overcome. We need an unbiased and free union press, freedom of speech,
and equal rights to answer and publish in our union paper. One way to
get critical information to the membership is with your help.

Pass on information, updates, email, and the AMC website address and postings.
We need help getting information to members and ask your assistance. To help us, just send in an email to the AMC site.
We believe personal contact and networking of information will achieve greater influence with members.
Send information to colleagues at sea and on vacation. Reconnect with
old shipmates. Talk about your intent to support our campaign. Your
leadership is essential in a democratic union.
AMC Solidarity – Vote the AMC Slate of Candidates
We urge a complete solidarity vote that supports our candidates.
Without solidarity, votes can be divided and could conquer a membership drive.
With solidarity, the AMC candidates can strongly influence executive
board decisions in accordance with our campaign promises and platform.
Your vote and voice will be strengthened with a solidarity vote for the
AMC.
